Dreaming In Chocolate, Susan Bishop Crispell

Dreaming in Chocolate - Susan Bishop Crispell

I really enjoyed this clean Fantasy Romance. I was given this book for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating. I found it both amusing and sad. What would you do if you could have your wishes granted by eating or drinking chocolate? What a fun way to solve some problems. Of course you must believe.

Mail Order Bride: Westward Justice, Linda Bridey

I really enjoyed this Historical Western Romance. I voluntarily chose to review this and I've given it a 4.5* rating. For the most part, this was a fun story with a pants wearing female who was prepared to take care of herself. This addressed some important issues also that were woven into the story. And it left me with a good feeling at the end.

A Children's book about Teasing, Joy Berry

This was a good book to help children who get teased a lot. I bought this from the Friends of the Library and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating. Lots of useful information for children in here.

Temple of the Jaguar, Judith Hudson

This book just went live, May 1st, 2018. I absolutely loved this romantic suspense. I received this arc for free and I voluntarily chose to review it.  I've voluntarily chose to review it. Wow, that's the feeling I had when I finished this. It was full of action and a touch of romance. It really kept me guessing till near the end. Plenty of bad or not so good guys throughout and I could almost feel the heat from this small Mexican town. Looking forward to more of this author's work.

Prayers For Young Children, Martina Steinkuhler

I was impressed with this simplistic book of prayers for children. I received this for free and voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating. I liked how it has different subjects like bad moods, loosing someone, and many other emotions. It has an index so they can find it easier or the parents can. Sometimes in our busy lives, we just can't be there for our children or grandchildren. Sometimes we just don't know what they are feeling. I'm excited to pass this on to my grandchildren, to help them realize that we can pray about these issues in simple ways. Maybe learn that this is one way to get peace of mind.

His Pregnant Princess Bride, Catherine Mann

His Pregnant Princess Bride (Bayou Billionaires) - Catherine Mann

I enjoyed this romance. I received this for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4* rating. The heroine in this goes back and forth so much, it's hard for anyone to tell what she will do. In the meantime the hero is almost clueless in what she wants to make her happy. Once she allows him to talk more, they finally find out. Interesting couple. A little bit too much sexual scenes for my taste but good story.

Fighting Love For the Cowboy, Anne-Marie Meyer

I enjoyed this romance ARC. I received this for free and I voluntarily chose to review this. I've given this a 4.5* rating. I really liked these characters and wanted the best for them. The hero needs some communication skills and learn how to deal with the closed in feelings. There were a lot of things going on in this story that nobody talked about. Anyway I want to read more of this author's work.

Dating By the Numbers, Jennifer Lehmann

I enjoyed this fun romance. I received this book for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given this story a 4.5* rating. The heroine was nerdy with her numbers and love of math. She had so much going on with numbers and tried to run her love life with the numbers. You can guess how complicated that got or just read this and follow her journey. This had me laughing out loud a few times. I want to read more of this author's work.

One True Love, Barbara Freethy

One True Love - Barbara Freethy

I found this romance a little hard to get into but once I did, I enjoyed it. I received this book for free and voluntarily chose to review. I've given this a 4* rating. This story was woven around two women, who grew up friends and are reconnected in this story. There is a lot of woundedness in these characters and a lot of healing too. There are several twists and turns along the way. A real interesting ending.

Judy Moody Saves The World, Megan McDonald

Judy Moody Saves The World! - Megan McDonald, Peter H. Reynolds

This middle school age book was fun. I received it for free and voluntarily chose to review it. While it was fun with a lot of action, the characters lacked any real depth. I would have liked to see a little more. While it was centered on recycling and saving the world, I would have liked to have answers as to why. I would hope that this would make some of our teenagers think about it more. Because it was a little fun and a good subject matter, I've given this a 4* rating and I'll be sharing this with my grandchildren.

What a Gentleman Wants, Coroline Linden

What a Gentleman Wants - Caroline Linden

I really enjoyed this suspenseful historical romance set mostly in London. I received this book for free and voluntarily chose to review it. It's centered around twins, not one set but two in the same family. This story pulled me in quickly. I wasn't feeling well and didn't read a lot in a day, but this has a lot of action and interesting characters in it. I've given it a 5* rating and look forward to reading more of this author's work.

Sweet Romance Collection, Faith Johnson

I enjoyed most of this but some of the authors are better than others in this set of 18 stories. I liked that Katherine Shelton shared a series as her contribution as did Ruth Bawell. I liked that I was reconnected with some of the characters. Anyway, this helped to flesh out some of the characters as I went along. That being said, I liked many of the concepts of the stories and it helped them to stay fresh. I voluntarily chose to review this set and I've given it a 4.4* rating.

The Duke's Deception, Katherine Shelton

I really enjoyed this last in this set of Katherine's Regency Romance. I voluntarily chose to review it and I gave it a 5* rating. This has a real bad guy in it and a very stubborn and sassy heroine. Looks like a long line of stubborn in these sisters. A bit of action in this clean read.Although not all the family turned out well, the sisters strove to make good matches.

The Amish Widow's Outsider, Ruth Bawell

I liked this story but was left a little unsettled by this clean Amish Romance. This widow knows this man less than a few weeks and makes her decisions. Not sure I like the ending. This is also book 17 in the Sweet Romance Collection. I've voluntarily chose to review this and I've given it a 4.2* rating.

Room For A Bride, Faith Johnson

Mail Order Bride: Room for a Bride: Clean and Wholesome Western Historical Romance (Busy Brides of the West Series Book 2) - Faith Johnson

I really enjoyed this Historical Western Romance. I voluntarily chose to review this and I've given it a 4.5* rating. This pulled at my heartstrings from the beginning. This heroine has lost so much and yet she pulled herself together and decides to move on, literally to the west for a new start. It was a lot different than she was used to, but it didn't stop her. A wonderful ending. This is also the 16th book of the Sweet Romance Collection. So on to the next.

The Lady's Dilemma, Katherine Shelton

I enjoyed this Regency Romance. I've voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5 * rating. This really had a few twists and turns to change everything up. This 16th book of the Sweet Romance Collection stirred things up a bit in Katherine's Regency series. All is not as it seems. On to the next book.
