Scoring the Keeper's Sister, Delancey Stewart

It was a fun romantic story with a little drama in it. I received this for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4* rating. This is not for the under 18 readers. There is a lot of snarky talk and uncool language. There is a bit of action, not on the playing field, and a PR trying to highlight the good the team does. There is even talk about cheese. A fairly fast read for hot summer nights.

A Subtle Murder, Blythe Baker

I enjoyed this murder mystery even though it has a cliffhanger concerning something else in it. I received this for free and voluntarily chose to review it. It did have me hanging in there with her going through her suspects. I gave this cozy a 4.5* rating.

Locked Down with the Army Doc, Scarlet Wilson

I really enjoyed this medical romance but at times it was really intense. I received this for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. It starts out like many romances but quickly pulled me in as things started spinning. A hurricane quickly heads towards them and from there, it quickly turns to chaos. When necessities meets survival and routine meets flying by the seat of your pants, find out how this community works this out. I rated this clean romance a 5*.

The Raider's Bride, Kimberly Cates

I enjoyed this historical romance that was set in the 1770's before the American Revolution. I received this for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. This is not for the under 18 readers. There is some sex and violence in this. Add a precocious child, and horses together and it gets real interesting.

Murder Notes, Lisa Renee Jones

Murder Notes (Lilah Love) - Lisa Renee Jones

I enjoyed this murder mystery, certainly more than some of her others. I received this for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating. Because of the graphic violence and other, this is NOT for the under 18 readers. Even I, a 64 year old grandmother had some problems with this. I do say that this has a big cliff hanger at the end. Lots of snarky talk and plenty of action in this and it will keep pulling you into the story. Darn that cliffhander.

The Billionaire's Fake Bride, Hanna Hart

I really enjoyed this fake bride romance. I voluntarily chose to review it and I've given it a 4.5* rating. The billionaire boss is out of sorts, problems with an ex wife, thinking he's still in love with her. Lots going on around him till something shakes him up.It's a pretty clean read too. It left a good feeling when I finished.

Deep Cover Detective, Lena Diaz

Deep Cover Detective (Marshland Justice) - Lena Diaz

I really enjoyed this romantic intrigue. Bought this at a used book sale and I voluntarily chose to review it. This is not for the under 18 readers, I've given it a 5* rating. There is a lot of non stop action in this to keep you turning the pages. There were a couple surprises along the way that I didn't see coming. I also liked the ending.

The Lost Sister, Jen Talty

I enjoyed this unusual romance between physics with many gifts. I received this for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. This is not for the under 18 readers. These physics were being used in a type of warfare. And half the time they were very confused. This was unusual and a little confusing. I gave it a 4* rating.

Beauty & the Billionaire Beast, Maria Hoagland

Beauty and the Billionaire Beast (Destination Billionaire Romance Book 6) - Maria Hoagland, Amberlee Day, Kaylee Baldwin

I enjoyed this romantic mystery. I received this for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating. This had a touch of Romeo and Juliette because of 2 close families through the generations set in New Orleans, Louisiana featuring the old plantations. Add a funny little twist to the everyday workings of one of the smaller plantations, giving tours, renovations and general fixing up of things, and you find yourself pulled into the mystery.

The Lighthouse, Jen Talty

I enjoyed this romance except it had too much sexual content for my liking. I voluntarily chose to review this. I gave it a 4* rating. This is not for the under 18 readers. In a way this was a second chance at love romance. There was a lot of action in this story and it was evolved around cyber hacking. There were a few interesting bits but not overly so.

Fragments of Ash, Katy Regnery

Fragments of Ash - Katy Regnery

I enjoyed this romantic suspense. I received it for free and I've voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 5* rating. This is pretty intense and not for the under 18 readers. There is a bit of violence and foul language, some sexual references and more. But there are men out there who think women are posessions to do with as they want. This is one heck of a bad guy. At first I didn't know if I could read it all, but it does have a good ending.

Reduced Ransom!, Mike Faricy

This was a funny story about 2 misfits who decided to kidnap some people for ransom. I voluntarily chose to review this. I've given it a 4* rating. They were so dumb that it was a bit funny. If anyone had dumb luck, it was them. So if you want some cheap laughs, then this might do it.

Montana Lawman Rescuer, Linda Ford

Montana Lawman Rescuer (Big Sky Country #6) - Linda Ford

I really enjoyed this historical western romance. What's a girl to do, rescued from a stagecoach robbery with no memory and the sheriff makes her fell safe.I bought this from a book sale and I voluntarily chose to review it. Both the hero and the heroine have plenty of baggage, but they are attracted to each other. Lots of twists and turns to keep you turning the page. I've given it a 4.7* rating. I'll be looking for more from this author.

Say I Do In Good Hope, Cindy Kirk

I absolutely loved this romance book. I won this book and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.7* rating. It was a romance but at times it wasn't. The give and take was at times comical, often serious issues woven through it. It was a blend of many things, which life often throws at us. I look forward to more of this author's work.

Jackson, Emily March

I really enjoyed this second chance romance, which is soon to be released.. I received this for free and I voluntarily chose to review this. This was really a second chance for both the hero and the heroine. Both so very different, happen to meet by chance, or maybe not. This had some interesting action, and things going on and it certainly kept me interested. I've given this a 4.7* rating.

Here Without You, Jennifer L. Allen

I really liked this tear jerker of a romance. I voluntarily chose to review this and I've given it a 4.7* rating. This story pulled me in very fast and the violence felt very real, maybe because of the world we live in today, it happens so frequently. What we rarely hear about is how the survivers deal with what they felt/saw from the experience. This author did a good job of exposing us to this reality.
