I found this story interesting but it does have a high level of sexual content. Also it is not for the under 18 readers. I received this free with the Exclusive Jewels-Vol 3. I voluntarily chose to review this and I've given it a 4.5* rating. Most of this story moves around Sir Arthur and the round table, truth or myth. Then are there artifacts or not? A mystery wrapped around treasure hunting with erotic romance thrown in.
I enjoyed these three stories and I voluntarily chose to review these. I've given this set a 4.5* rating. There is just a little too much sexual content for the under 18 readers. However there was little jewels of content in each story to lighten the stories a bit. All three were good Western Romances.
This is for "A Family For the Rancher" by Jenna Kernan, only. I enjoyed this but it is not for the under 18 readers because of sexual content. There is some humor, a lot of not knowing what these two can handle, and a lot of forgiveness needed in these two people. Rich or poor, there are lots of things from our childhoods that we sometimes need to heal and move on from. I voluntarily chose to review this. You add two young boys and some things can get real interesting. I've given it a 4* rating.
I enjoyed this historical romance. This is part of the Exclusive Jewels Vol 3 that I won. I've given it a 4.5* rating. It is not for the under 18 readers because of sexual and violence content. There is certainly a lot of action to keep your attention. This was an interesting concept and went a long way to tell it.
I really enjoyed this murder mystery. I received this for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating. This is not for the under 18 readers. I wonder if someone else found something a little kinky in this.At a time when banks were going under, daily, there is one murder, and then another. Is the murder connected with the banks or something else. I must say that this kept me guessing till the end.
I enjoyed this historic romance. I won this from the Exclusive Jewels-Vol 3. A bit too much sexual content for the under 18 readers. I've given this a 4.5* rating. This was an interesting time period when Nepolean was on the march toward Paris. Although Paris is associated with art and romance, it was also a large city targeted in times of war, as at the time of this story and more commonly known at WWII when it was taken over by Germany. This story only touches on the tips of this first time period and some of the situations but enough to fill out this story and the serious situations many went through. A nice ending to this story.
I enjoyed this Christmas story and I bought this at a library book sale. I voluntarily chose to review this. I've given it a 4.5* rating. This was not a conventional Christmas celebration. It deals with adoption and other issues. Sometimes we just need to put the issues in other hands.
I enjoyed this historical romance. I won this from the Jewels of Historic Romance and I voluntarily chose to review it. Parts moved really fast but a few parts tended to be a little slow. There was a bit of action, a little romance and a nice ending. I've given this a 4* rating but this is not for the under 18 readers.
This was another clean, short Christmas romance with a little Christmas magic in it. I bought this at a library sale and I voluntarily chose to review it. While this is not a recent release, it's part of a series that Guideposts put out. I've given it a 5*. A newcomer came to town and outbid others on a great old building in a popular business part of town. She doesn't dress like the other business owners and she ends up having half the town in a uproar. It's a very Christmas time message to us readers too.
I enjoyed this historical romance that I won in a bundle from Jewels of Historical Romance. I voluntarily chose to review this. I gave it a solid 4-4.5* depending on how you feel about sexual content. This is not for the under 18 readers. It was funny and awkward in parts. This Lord did not know how offensive some of his comments were and didn't understand why people were upset with him. A very nice ending.
I enjoyed most of this historical romance. This is part of a collection of books I won. Both the hero and the heroine say that they do not want to get married. This is not for the under 18 readers. I did give this a 4.5* rating, partly because it had some interesting twists. The main concept was funny but not funny at the same time. On to the next in this collection of historical stories.
I enjoyed this Amish story. I received it for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. This is during the later years of the civil war. You'll need to keep a tissue handy. This family had some real hardships, compounded by the Amish views of fighting. It just about broke my heart because I know many of the things probably did happen during the war. The story pulled me in and made it hard to put down. I've given this a 5* rating. Not sure the younger should be reading this.
I enjoyed this romance with a little bit of mystery in it. I won this set of books, Exclusive Jewels-Vol 2, and I voluntarily chose to review this story. I've given it a 4.5*rating. This is not for the under 18 readers. Apparently several women were looking for husbands except a widow who was pursued anyway. This story had a little intrigue and a variety of characters that certainly stirred this pot. I'm just surprised that type of ending didn't come sooner.
I really enjoyed this Love-Inspired Suspense. Bought this at Wal-mart and voluntarily chose to review it. I've given this a 4.7* rating. There certainly was a lot of action and some shooting. These K-9 unit books are full of a lot of action. I can't but help enjoying these dogs that work with their handlers. Some are put in danger along with their handlers but others are helpers in all sorts of things. This covered a subject that we hear in the news more and more these days. This is the second of this author's work I've read and I was not disappointed.
I enjoyed this historical romance. I voluntarily chose to review this and I've given it a 4.5* rating. This romance had a lot going on, romance, do gooding, Courting in unusual ways. This is not for the under 18 readers. You put a do-gooder pick pocket and a lady who liked to work for causes together. Then they start helping each other. Stick a really bad guy or two in their world and stir it up. It was interesting, funny, serious and more.
I enjoyed this romance. I received it for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating. This one has been out for a few years but one I hadn't read. Except for an overly dominant male, which also goes with his position in life, I could see him mellow a bit along the way. The heroine is trying to write a book on "Harem's", which has suposidly gone by the wayside. Lots of interesting little tidbits in this about another way of life. This is not for the under 18 readers as there is a bit of sexual content in this.
