Amish Christmas Books, Grace Given

For the most part, I enjoyed the whole set. I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating overall. There were some 5* but a couple 4*'s too. I must say, if you have read a lot of Grace Given's books, you may not want this. However, if you haven't yet, this is great way to read a lot of a good author's writing. There are Amish Proverbs, Amish bible heros and even an Amish Scrooge.

The House that Stands, Grace Given

I enjoyed this Amish Parable and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating. There is trouble brewing in a Amish family, along with some elderly parents. Lots going on in this, some courting and other mischief. Sometimes families just have to be firm. It has a good ending.

Precious Treasure In The Field, Grace Given

I enjoyed this short Amish Parable story and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 5* rating. This is a short and clean read about everyday things and how they can affect our lives. Joseph's Bride, Grace Given

I enjoyed this Amish type Bible story. I voluntarily chose to review this and I gave it a 4.7* rating. The hero in this was also in Miracle Child by the same author. There were a lot of lessons in this and I thought there could have been more. However, this was a good length story and addresses several issues. It will make you think of several scriptures.

AMISH BABY ROMANCE: Miracle Child: Christmas Amish Baby Romance (Amish Bible Heroes Book 5) - Grace Given

I enjoyed and shed a few tears too for this Amish Christmas book. I voluntarily chose to review this and I've given it a 4.5* rating. The hero for this had a lot of ups and downs. While they called it growing in faith, it's includes growing up in his thinking, too. It has a special ending also for this Christmas Miracle.

Pick and Chews, Linda O Johnston

I really enjoyed this cozy mystery. I received this book for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given this a 5* rating. While the dogs kept it interesting, the mystery pulled me in and kept me turning the pages. I must say, that it was a little brash how this sleuth kept asking her questions. Even if she kept a smile on her face, that boyfriend had to have had his doubts about her.

Ruth, Grace Given

I enjoyed this Amish Romance with references to the bible. I voluntarily chose to review this story and I've given it a 4.5* rating. I thought this was interesting with the slight mixing of different orders of Amish and Minnonite. Sorry about the spelling. It's about love, loss, faith and a second chance of happiness. It's about being open to God's way of healing, and listening to his guidance.

I enjoyed this Amish, Historical, war story. I was quite touched by this and I voluntarily chose to review this. I've given it a 4.5* rating.
