Reunion Under Fire, Geri Krotow

I enjoyed this romantic suspense. I received this book for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating. This is Not for the under 18 readers because of sexual content. There was a lot of action in this and it pulled me in from the first. I enjoyed that a bit of it was centered around a yarn shop, since I crochet. And it made me happy with the good guys winning in the end, sort of.

Read, Write, Love At Seaside, Addison Cole

Read, Write, Love at Seaside - Addison Cole

I really enjoyed this somewhat sweet romance. I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.7* rating. There is a lot of sexual reference in this and I know I wouldn't want my young granddaughter to read this. Parts of it were funny and some serious. A real nice ending.

The LIght Before Day, Suzanne Woods Fisher

The Light Before Day - Suzanne Woods Fisher

I enjoyed this story but since I've been sick, I'm not sure how much it actually dragged at first or was me. I received this book for free and I've voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating. There was a lot going on in this story, including going back and forth in time. Lots of interesting facts that are around the time of the civil war starting and a lot of immigration going on. Mix religion, and women's rights into this and you pretty much have a boiling pot. A very interesting ending.

Be Mine This Christmas Night, L A Sartor

Be Mine This Christmas Night (Star Light ~ Star Bright #1) - L.A. Sartor

I enjoyed this second chance romance. I received it for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating. I's not really a clean read but not too far from it. For different reasons, these two lost someone they loved. This wasn't an easy blending of family but interesting none the less. Lots of twists and turns as they found their way. A very satisfying ending.

Unmistakably Yours, Kristin Holt

I really enjoyed this historical western romance. I received this for free and I voluntarily chose to review this. I've given it a 5* rating. This had a lot of stuff going on. It ended up with three miracles happening in this small town. Plenty of unique characters too.

My Christmas Break Mistake, Anne-Marie Meyer

I have mixed feelings about this tween read. I received this for free and chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating.Good concept but the characters gave out mixed signals. At a time when hormones and feelings run high, this was a tough situation. There is a lot of tough talk and negative responses. Clearly, both hero and heroine still have a lot of growing up to do. A good ending after some good communication between them.

Mail Order Bride: Christmas Miracles, Emma Ashwood

This romance has a few different twists. I voluntarily chose to review it and I've given it a 4.5* rating. This was clean but with some violence at the end. You might want to have some tissue's ready for a few parts of this. Lots of different tidbits that were interesting, in this also.

A Mistaken Match, Whitney Bailey

A Mistaken Match - Whitney Bailey

I really enjoyed this Mail order Bride historical romance between a stubborn hero and heroine. It was a test of who would speak up first and listening to each other. I bought this at a book sale and I've given it a 5* rating. Once their communication skills got better, it made a big difference. Loved most of the other characters too. Nice cold winter's read.

New Love for Ellen, Emily Woods

I really enjoyed this Mail Order Bride Romance. I voluntarily chose to review this and I've given it a 5* rating. During the civil war, many lost homes and almost everything they used to count on, but the ones who lost family also, lost most or all of their livelyhood. As a mother, I felt the sorrow when the mother could not feed her family like she wanted. This author did a wonderful job of showing some of the hardships this mother went through. This is filled with many tears and joys to take you back to that time.

Just This Once, Mira Lyn Kelly

Just This Once - Mira Lyn Kelly

This was good, but not as good as I had hoped. I received this for free and volunteered to review it. I've given it a 4* rating. Not for the under 18 readers, too much dirty talk and centered around the sexual theme. The hero thought the heroine was out of bounds because she was a sister to his best friend, and other things in his life. However, they were good friends. After many years, the bounderies shift and we go from there.

Undercover Princess, Lenora Worth

I really enjoyed this romance with a lot of other things going on. I voluntarily chose to review it and I've given it a 5* rating. I really liked this heroine and how she went undercover, even though the real her still showed out. There was a little humor and danger also with this. A very sweet read.

Santa's Secret, Linda Leigh Hargrove

I enjoyed this but there were parts that bothered me a little. I voluntarily chose to review this and I've given it a 4* rating. Near the ending, there was some unrational rage. Anyway, parts were funny but you could tell, there was healing needed.

Amish Christmas Books, Grace Given

For the most part, I enjoyed the whole set. I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating overall. There were some 5* but a couple 4*'s too. I must say, if you have read a lot of Grace Given's books, you may not want this. However, if you haven't yet, this is great way to read a lot of a good author's writing. There are Amish Proverbs, Amish bible heros and even an Amish Scrooge.

Abram's Child, Grace Given

I enjoyed this Amish story. As someone who has lost 3 babies, this was a real heart tugger. I voluntarily chose to review this and I've given it a 5* rating. I liked how this author showed healing while helping others. This had a very nice ending.

The House that Stands, Grace Given

I enjoyed this Amish Parable and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating. There is trouble brewing in a Amish family, along with some elderly parents. Lots going on in this, some courting and other mischief. Sometimes families just have to be firm. It has a good ending.

Precious Treasure In The Field, Grace Given

I enjoyed this short Amish Parable story and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 5* rating. This is a short and clean read about everyday things and how they can affect our lives. Whenever possible, we should try and do things in life for our livelyhood that we enjoy, when possible. This was also book 11 in the Amish Christmas books set.
